bigstuff offers creativity and imagination workshops for people of all ages
 in order to aid the formation of community parnerships and strong social networks

we work with schools, churches, youth groups, care homes,
neighbourhood groups and local volunteers

bigstuff -  intrinsic to our ordinary everyday experiences are the big questions about our existence and life's direction, purpose and meaning. We are innately sensitive to matters beyond and yet within everyday life. This is the bigstuff that we ponder and wrestle with. It shapes our values and attitudes, orientation and perspectives. Our workshops are designed to allow for exploration, play, wondering, discovering and reflecting, in order that we can uncover new truths about our world, others and ourselves. In the process we learn to negotiate existential terrain with greater connectivity and confidence and we also become human beings who embrace every dimension of life with a robust, flexible and holistic spirituality.

creative - we use the arts and creativity as important vehicles for people to discover new things about themselves and each other and so unlock their potential to create change.

playful - our approach is co-operative, non coercive, gentle and fun. We use play as a powerful tool to enhance the pathways of communication and thinking.

adventures - we present challenges, that generate possibilities, that stimulate 'imagineering' and openness to innovation, surprise and change in an atmosphere of trust and respect.

community - we believe in the transforming and enabling power of intergenerational dialogue and collaboration and in the inherent value of learning together from and through our experiences of people of all ages.

learning - we offer opportunities for REAL learning that is Relational, Engaging,
Appropriate, Life enhancing.

spiritual, moral, social and cultural development - our activities foster in people a sense of connection with themselves, others and the world. We aim to provide a spiritually nourishing environment which inspires empathy, acceptance, compassion, justice, resilience, emotional intelligence, personal integrity and healthy living.
